Mr Y.R. Kapoor our Executive Chairman for J-Star Security is also the Chairman for Hotel Paradise and Hotel Shail Raj, Manali. He brings with him a strong working experience of more than 40 years working for hospitality and service industry. His continuous support and backing has ensured company’s success. Besides being the guiding spirit of J-Star and continuing to put untiring efforts towards inculcating a culture of family in the company which has touched the lives of employees and citizens alike.
Mr. Jyoti Kapoor
Managing Director (MD) & Chief Executive (CEO)
Mr. Jyoti Kapoor is the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive (CEO) for J-Star Security. Mr. Kapoor also holds the position of Vice chairman for CAPSI (Central Association for Private Security Industry) for the Himachal chapter. He has been instrumental in guiding the J-Star management team for achieving 100% customer delight year after year. His single minded objective being that of making J-Star India's most preferred security solutions brand. Masters (M.A.) in Public Administration from Punjab University, Chandigarh and MBA in HRD from ICFAI. Mr. Kapoor has done many short term Security Management courses from IISM Delhi. During his academics he was the best cadet of NCC and has attended RDC, Delhi in 1999.He got selected for Kargil Motivation training camp in the month of July 1999 to represent the 2nd Chandigarh NCC Battalion and due to his leadership quality he also received special appreciation award from the General V.P. Malik the then Chief of Army Staff.
Mr Shashi Kapoor
Executive Director
Mr. Shashi Kapoor the Executive Director for J-Star Security primarily drives Strategic Directions and Corporate Initiatives for J-Star. He advises on key policy issues, global partner relationships and leads strategic and corporate matters to ensure that the J-Star is on the right track for achieving the established vision and goals. An engineer by profession, he has done his Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics from Shivaji University, Maharashtra and MBA from University of Wisconsin, USA. He brings with him a strong leadership experience and a spirit of innovation while working in a reputed MNC. He has more than 10 years of international program management experience with teams in India, China, Canada and USA.
Brigadier Pradeep Sharma
Vice President, Strategic Business Development
Brig Pradeep Sharma is an alumnus of the Lawrence School Sanawar. A second generation army officer ,he joined the JAT REGIMENT in his Father's footsteps.
35 years of active service have given him a rich exposure to the travails of our Country in the remotest of areas and a people to people contact so important in the fields of his interest i.e. counter insurgency & counter terrorism. He has seen closely the happenings in J&K, Punjab, Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram in operational circumstances.
In addition, he has had the proud distinction of being selected to raise the NSG and being a squadron
commander with the 51 SAG, an Instructor in the Indian Military Academy, Directing Staff in Army War
college and the Brig Gen Staff responsible for facilitating the training in various Military Establishments including the School For Counter Insurgency & Terrorism & Jungle Warfare.
His active contribution in rendering aid resulted in saving lives and property of thousands in the riots after the demolition of the Babri Masjid, Godra as well as the Cyclonic Storms/floods and the Earthquakes that hit Orissa, Bihar, Assam, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh as well as Eastern UP.
An eloquent speaker, he has been an guest speaker at various conferences in India & abroad, talking on contemporary topics of Counter terrorism and National Security .In addition, he has been closely involved in Homeland Security as well as Education Segments of Industry for several years.
Areas of expertise include. At present he is on the panel of guest speakers with CII, FICCI and PH D Chambers as well as SPG of India. Widely travelled, he has been to USA, UK, France , Sweden and Switzerland as well as Germany in addition to all the states, Metro Cities of India. His contribution in writing the Security Guidelines for Industry in Punjab as well as Guidelines for Malls, Multiplexes and areas with a Heavy footfall were submitted to the Administration in Punjab in 1991 & NSG prior to the CWG.

Lt. Col. Sudarshan Kumar Sharma
General Manager (GM)
Lt. Col SK Sharma is General Manager (GM) Operation and Development for J-Star Security. Col Sharma served for Army in the corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers for 28 years (1965- 1993) dealing with Administration, HRD, Telecommunication and Engineering Machinery. Col Sharma headed various establishments of the Army for nearly 20 years.Col Sharma has done B.Sc. from NDA, Pune and Engineering (B.E.) from College of Military Engineering, Pune. Col Sharma has also done PGDBM in Business Management and Industrial Management. He held various management positions of Regional head, GM Admin for reputed MNCs before joining J-star in 2012.
Mr. Harish Sharma
Assistant General Manager (AGM)
Mr Sharma is Assistant General Manager (AGM) Operations for J-Star Security. Mr. Sharma has been associated with J-Star since 2006. He held various management positions from Operations, Admin to Business Development in J-Star. A graduate in Public Administration and MBA in HRD. He held various Operations and Sales positions in reputed companies like Bharti Airtel and Bajaj Allianze before joining J-Star in 2006 as Branch Manager.
Capt. Harbans Singh
Head of Administration
Capt. Harbans Singh is Head of Administration for J-Star Security. Capt. Singh joined Army Postal Services in the year of 1974. He has been awarded best cadet in the troops. During his army duties, he has served Nagaland state twice which was disturbed area at that time and was awarded the GOC-IN-C EAST COMMAND’s Commendation Card for his efforts to promote the Postal Life Insurance to the tune of 50 Crores Rupees. He has put his best of services during BLUE STAR OPERATION in 1984. During his Army services, he has executed many administrative responsibilities successfully. After retiring as a Hon. Capt. from the Army, he joined J-Star Security as a Branch Manager in 2005.
Mr. Vinod Kumar Sharma
Sales and Marketing Head
Mr.VK Sharma is Sales and Marketing Head for J-Star. Mr. Sharma brings with him a strong sales experience of working for more than 25 years on various management positions for reputed Indian organizations. Mr. Sharma has worked for ACC Cement as a Liaison Officer for 18 years. He has been with since 2006, joining as a Marketing Executive in 2006 and moved on to various increasing responsibilities in Marketing and Sales.
Mr. Chaman Lal
Security Head In-Charge
Mr Chaman Lal is Security Head In-Charge for J-Star Security. He brings with him more than 30 years of experience with ITBPF & Special Protection Group (SPG) thus adding value to J-Star. Mr Lal held various top security officer positions serving VVIP of country like Former President of India Gyani Jail Singh, Former Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, P Chitambram and Mr. Amitabh Bachan. Mr. Lal has more than 15 years experience in various Security Operation positions with private security. Mr. Lal is one of the initial team members and has been with J-Star since 2003.
Mr. Sant Ram
Head of J-Star Security Training Center
Mr Ram is Head of J-Star Security Training Center since 2007. Mr. Ram has served Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for 19 years (1975 – 1994). During his service with CRPF, he was decorated with Police Service Medal in 1994. He has a vast experience of more than 16 years working for Recruiting Training Center (RTC).
