Our recruitment procedure is as per standards and norms of PASSAR Act, which includes scanning of academic qualification, reference check, physical standard, police verification and personal interview.

Basic Training Course
After recruitment, each security guard has to undergo a grueling two week full time basic training course. This training course involves the physical training as well as training related to maintaining documents, paper work during their job at client site. Also security staff is educated on any client requirements specific to client site or any local issues.
Training is the back bone of security business and the “NAGWAIN” based Training school is the way ahead to strength the same. J-STAR has embarked on this ambitious project of establishing its training centers in other parts of the country as well.
Also on a regular period of every six month, each security guard or staff has to undergo a refresher course with the special requirement of the site. In addition to providing training at training centers we also conduct in house courses for organizations requiring training at their own premises and also provide consultancy services to large and medium size corporate.
We are registered with the Punjab Police Training Institute, Hoshiarpur (Punjab) and Police Training College Hospitality & Welfare Society, Daroh (HP). J-Star has also signed a MOU with YMCA and NIOS to train our Security personnel as per the training standard of PASSAR Act.

Indoor Training
In class room training we teach about correct interpretation of gate-passes, material movement passes, visitors pass, outward –in ward registers, examination of papers Including identity cards, passport and smart cards etc.
Security guards and staff are also educated on rudimentary knowledge of Indian Penal Code, right to private defense, procedure for lodging first information report in the police station, Arms Act (only operative section), use of electronic security equipments and devices.
Regular training camps are conducted for supervisory staff and managers to keep them afresh with latest trends and concepts of leadership and management.
Quality Audit
After successfully deployment of security guards, our field audit team conducts regular visits to client sites and review the security performance. Our field audit staff act as coordinators between security personnel and the management for smooth Functioning.
Our quality team is fully responsible for monitoring the performance and quality of our deployed security staff and assignee manager. Quality audits are typically performed at predefined time intervals and ensure that our security team for each site has clearly defined internal system monitoring procedures linked to effective action. Regular quality audits are conducted to ensure that all the services are delivered as per J-Star security standard to meet your requirements.
